2024 DOE Annual Merit Review Proceedings and Awards

The proceedings for the 2024 Department of Energy (DOE) Hydrogen Program Annual Merit Review (AMR) are now available online at https://www.annualmeritreview.energy.gov/. The 2024 DOE AMR was held on May 6 - 9, 2024, in Arlington, Virginia. Presentations and posters on project status are available in the AMR presentation database.
FCHEA would like to highlight the award for Safety Codes and Standards; Systems Development and Integration; and Hydrogen Infrastructure – recipients Shaun Onorato, Taichi Kuroki, and Jamie Kee, National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Krishna Reddi, Argonne National Laboratory, and Lauren Mattar, NextEnergy.

DOE and European Commission Hosting Hydrogen Emissions and Environmental Impact Workshop

The U.S. Department of Energy’s Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office, in collaboration with the European Commission, is organizing the Hydrogen Emissions and Environmental Impacts Workshop on September 16-17, 2024, on the campus of the University of California in Irvine, California. Participants in the workshop will share the latest advances in climate science, modeling, and detection, mitigation, and measurement technologies, while also identifying remaining R&D gaps in these areas. The workshop will be in-person and invite-only.
